Feb. 17, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Neusoft Corporation<600718>, a Chinese software company, will merge with Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technology Corp (DHC) in a major asset reorganization.

Meanwhile, shares of Neusoft are suspended on the Shanghai Stock Exchange starting today.

People familiar with the deal revealed that DHC's original plan was to list independently, but due to the negative impact of the financial crisis on its business, DHC withdrew the listing plan and opted for a merger and acquisition (M&A) move.

Because both Neusoft and DHC focus on providing software outsourcing services to Japan, the move will benefit Neusoft's international software outsourcing business.
